Feather Hair Extensions are suddenly the hottest fashion trend in Hollywood thanks to the likes of the always freaky looking Steven Tyler and now the glamor of everybody's ray of sunshine, Jennifer Love Hewitt, but as our favorite Nasty Blogger overlooked in his post yesterday, there is a Hollywood debate brewing. While Snap On Feathers Feather Hair Extensions are fashionable, so is the talk of cruelty to animals. It should be pointed out that the feathers we see adorning the heads of our favorite celebrities do come from birds that were once alive. While we at Uberazzi can swear that no birds were harmed during the typing of this article, we cannot verify that the same holds true for those selling these plumes. It is always better to look good than feel good here in Hollywood, but if you are a vegetarian and don't want to step into a trap tailor made for the next PETA ad, then perhaps look for some synthetic feathers. At the risk of sounding too prophetic I will just note here that this moral debate over killing birds for fashion will start to reach its peak around the first week in June. I would assume it will take about 3 months before there will be more new stories about the roosters than about how cool it is to have feathers in your hair.

I think the feathers look silly on people unless they go with the entire look. But, there is no denying that this is turning into a cottage industry and big business. It will probably die out in the fall.
